Ben the Bear shipped to Sanctuary in California

A Fayetteville bear whose well-being was the subject of a Bob Barker letter has been shipped to California, NBC-17 has confirmed.

Ben the bear flew in a special transport from Raleigh to Sacramento, Calif., and then was transported to a Performing Animal Welfare Society Sanctuary in San Andreas, Calif., according to Raleigh attorney Gavin Parsons. Read more from NBC 17.
