| The Coalition to Unchain Dogs will be building 30+ fences in just 3 days,meaning better lives for dozens of Durham dogs. June 11-13 In addition to building fences and providing spay/neuter/vaccinations,the Coalition also advocates for regulation of tethering. The Coalition was instrumental in helping pass a tethering ordinance in Durham County,and it will go into effect at the end of June. They have been steadily building during the education and warning period over the last two years to build as many fences as possible to help people comply with the pending ordinance and even though they will continue to build fences indefinitely,they’re making one big push during the Fence-A-Thon to help as many people and dogs as they can. | ![]() |
